if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and what would your house be like?: i'm pretty much content with my house in texas i share with my family. it's on a golf course, the only thing i might add is probably a baseball field, a bowling alley and a starbucks for good measure. but other than that, it's pretty much my dream home. eventually, i suppose, i'll have to get my own dream home, but i would like a white picket fence.
if you knew today was your last day on earth, how would you spend it and who would you spend it with?: spend it with my family, doing what we love to do. probably ask to throw a beginning pitch at a yankees game, and get married.
who or what inspires you and why?: when you're a musician, you kind of taken inspiration from everywhere. so, in essence, everything inspires me. i get inspiration from everyday things, my dog, my family, my girlfriend, fans, other people's problems, my own problems. it's a great way to release some of the energies you may not want in your life. writing a song is like showing someone a hint into whats happened into your life, like a diary or a journal. so as most of our songs (together, separate) are drawn from personal experiences, we also like to help people bring out their personal experiences as well, and mesh them together with ours. it's a very rewarding process, but i really don't know how i turned this question into something about music.
in the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your plan of action, and what would be your weapon of choice?: i would simply follow the rules of zombieland, and take it from there.
what is your favorite show/song/movie at the moment?: favorite show, i really enjoy friday night lights (but that has come to an end), and i really enjoy random shows. i watch glee, most like everyone else, though i'm honestly not really feeling it this season. i just feel like there is a bunch of incestual dating in that show, and the new characters kind of brought a nice little pause into that. but besides that, my favorite song at the moment... thats a hard one, i like all sorts of music, but i really like this new song by parachute called "kiss me slowly" its really awesome. as for a movie, thats another tough one. the last movie i saw in theatres was scream4, and i enjoyed that, though i'm not a fanatic by all means. its kind of a funny story was really good too, but what i really want to see is the new red riding hood movie.
if you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?: steak, chips&salsa , and potatoes
if you could be an animagus (able to turn into a specific animal at will), what animal would you be and why?:hmm, its a toss up. i like lions a lot, and i like wolves. they're both kind of king type animals. king of the jungle, kings of the forest type stuff, haha. but yeah, definitely one of those two.
what is your favorite thing about your career?: getting to reach out to people, share my story, and help the world become a better place. i've been blessed to do a lot of amazing things with my career, not only with music, but with people, and diabetes. so i'm thankful for all of that, and its definitely a rewarding experience when you get to meet a fan, and they say you've changed their life. everytime i hear that, i feel blessed.
if you could live one day in someone else's life, who would it be and why, and what would you do and why?: probably the president's life, just to see what i'll be doing in the future.
when you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up, and is it anything like what you do now?: i always wanted to be into music, and right now in my life i'm doing more and more with music. it's truly a lifelong passion of mine, and i really couldn't see myself doing anything else.
